Andhra Pradesh is committed to the development of Skill Development & Education as a focus sector. The State is implementing cascading skill ecosystem targeting grass root level penetration of skill development with Skill Hubs and Skill Colleges with the National Skills Qualification Framework-level courses aligned with industrial demand.
The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has also developed a robust Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) ecosystem to cater to the skilling needs of the youth. With the collaboration of the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), the Society for Employment generation and Entrepreneurship Development in Andhra Pradesh (SEEDAP), and the National Academy of Construction (NAC) the State has planned short-term skilling programs for ~ 58000 candidates per annum. The TVET ecosystem in the state comprises 84 Industrial Training Institutes enrolling ~12000 students annually, and 82 Government Polytechnic colleges enrolling ~13000 students annually.
With multiple initiatives in place, focusing on creating an industry-ready workforce, Andhra Pradesh is committed to catering to skill development and education need in the state.

As part of the SIEMENS Program established high-end training labs across 40 institutions comprising of 6 Centres of Excellences and 34 Technical Skill Development Institutes.
Established 64 3D Experience Centres (including 1 COE at ANU) in collaboration with Dassault Systemes, a global leading 3D-experience company to train students in courses in Aerospace, Automotive, and Ship Building.
