The food processing industry in Andhra Pradesh has gained prominence in recent years. This sector serves as a vital link between the agriculture and industrial segments of the economy. Giving critical importance to further strengthen this link, the Government notified AP Food Processing Policy 2020-25 to provide an interface between farmers / FPOs and food processing industries.
